Get creative! Join us in our working pottery studio to make your own own Mug / Travel Cup.

• You’ll be guided through the process of designing and making your choice a Mug or Travel Cup.

• With guided help you'll learn to hand build and form your mug from a slab of clay with tips, tools and techniques to help you complete your own bespoke piece.

• Learn how to slab-roll clay ready for forming your Mug/ Travel Cup.

• See how we extrude our handles and attach your own to your Mug or Travel Cup.     

• Personalise your designs using a variety of sculpting tools, letter stamps and textures.

• Choose from our range of glazes to finish your Mug or Travel Cup. We’ll glaze and fire them for you after the workshop, ready for collection.

This workshop is perfect if you have some experience with clay but if your a beginner looking for a challenge we’ll guide you every step of the way.

• Location: TH Pottery studio, Unit 4, Orchard Barns, Stapleton, Dorrington, SY5 7EJ (just 3 minutes off the A49!)

• Duration: 2 hours

• Price: £50 per person

• Collection: 2–3 weeks after the workshop

Additional Information

• Workshop Skill Level: Intermediate - we recommend this workshop if you have some experience with clay but if your a beginner looking for a challenge we’ll guide you every step of the way.

• We recommend wearing warm clothing or bringing extra layers.

• Tea, coffee, and soft drinks are provided.

Please note: As your Workshop will be held in a working pottery studio we can’t allow children under 14 to take part in our workshops. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
